The Mtandao wa Jamii wa Usimamizi wa Misitu Tanzania (MJUMITA) is a national NGO whose mission is to promote networking and cooperation processes aiming to improve the capacity of her network members to engage in a meaningful way with management and conservation of natural forests, advocate for increased ownership and utilization of land and forest for improved livelihood of the people.

MJUMITA in partnership with Forest Training Institute (FTI) of Olmotonyi, Arusha is implementing a 5 years project “Empowering Communities on PFM, REDD and Climate Change” funded by the Royal Norwegian Government.

MJUMITA is seeking applications from qualified women and men for Finance and Administration Manager Position to handle project funds:

Finance and Administration Manager - Head Office, Dar es Salaam

The Finance and Administration Manager will contribute to the efficient and effective running of MJUMITA’s Finance Department with particular responsibility for ensuring the smooth operation of MJUMITA’s accounting software.

Candidates should have a CPA (T) registered by National Board of Accountants and Auditors as ACPA with Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent and at least 5 years experience of working as Finance and Administration Manager in National or International NGO's.

Field Officer - Based in Head Office Dar es Salaam

Field Officer shall ensure that project is implemented as per donor requirements by following procedures and policies in accordance with Tanzanian law and to advise the Executive Director on issues relating to Project.

Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Forestry, NRM, Environment or related field and at least 5 years working experience in teaching and development of participatory training materials, Good working knowledge of English and Kiswahili, experience in workingwith local communities and sound knowledge of Microsoft applications.
